The Edouard Manet rose is an artistic French variety bred by Delbard in 2016. Part of their famed "Painters Collection", it behaves like a masterpiece in motion—producing striking, watercolor-streaked blooms on incredibly user-friendly canes.

Characteristics

  • Color: High-contrast creamy-yellow to light apricot base splashed with vibrant candy-pink and rose-red stripes; the stripes soften beautifully in high summer heat.
  • Type: Climbing Rose / Vigorous Shrub — features highly flexible, nearly thornless canes that are exceptionally easy to train.
  • Fragrance: Strong, delicious citrus perfume blended with classic Damask rose notes.
  • Bloom Size: Medium to large, averaging 3.25 to 4 inches wide with up to 80–100 densely packed petals forming a deep cup.
  • Hardiness: USDA Zones 5–10.
  • Season: Continual repeat-bloomer from late spring straight through to autumn.

Water deeply at the root zone to support its glossy, highly disease-resistant foliage. Guide its flexible canes horizontally early in the season to encourage a massive explosion of flower-bearing side shoots.
